Magalí Benítez is a Paraguayan pianist, keyboardist, and composer whose eclectic style reflects her love for improvised and instrumental music across a variety of genres, including Paraguayan and South American music and jazz. Currently based in Boston, she is completing a Master’s degree at Berklee College of Music’s Global Jazz Institute on a full scholarship, where she studies under the mentorship of jazz masters such as Danilo Pérez, John Patitucci, and Terri Lyne Carrington.

Magalí leads her own instrumental project, which explores Paraguayan music through jazz influences and her original compositions. As a session musician, she contributes to a wide range of musical projects across genres, including pop, jazz, and folk music. She has performed at international festivals such as the Panama Jazz Festival, Curitiba Jazz Festival, and Boston Progressive Jazz Festival.

In addition to her artistic work, Magalí has over eight years of teaching experience at leading music institutions in Paraguay, including the National Conservatory of Music. As a piano instructor, she believes that learning music should be an enjoyable and meaningful experience, and her goal as a teacher is to help students grow both as musicians and as individuals. In recent years, she has also given masterclasses and lectures on Paraguayan music, composition, and ensemble performance in Brazil, Panama, and Paraguay.
