Collin Vodicka is a Boston based freelance musician, instructing and performing on flute, clarinet, saxophone, and oboe. He is a woodwind doubler, composer, and teacher, and currently plays oboe with the New England Film Orchestra. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Collin amassed an audience on social media through his viral covers of film and video game music using instruments from around the world. Today he uses these instruments to record remotely on film and video game soundtracks with composers around the world.
Collin’s primary mission as a teacher is to help students construct healthy practice and performance habits while also fueling their passion and love for music. He encourages consistency with students while also ensuring they have the space to explore their own personal musical interests. Collin frequently uses production programs to deliver custom lesson materials for my students based on interest and ability level. Similarly, he frequently uses professional recording software with students as an avenue into self-assessment.
