Chaeyoung Min is a highly accomplished South Korean pianist, known for her captivating performances and technical excellence. She made her solo debut recital in Korea at the age of 14 as part of the Kumho Prodigy Concert series, and has since gone on to perform at prestigious halls around the world, including Seoul Arts Center, Williams Hall, KNUA Hall, and Mozart Hall.

Min has received top prizes in numerous competitions in Korea and the United States, including the Young Chang Music Competition, Eumyoun Music Competition, Korean Chamber Orchestra Music Competition, and Samick-Seiler Music Competition. She also won the NEC Honors competition during her studies at the New England Conservatory. In 2022, Min won the prestigious Carnegie Hall Competition at Boston University, earning the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in March of 2023.

Min holds a Master of Music degree from the New England Conservatory, where she studied with Haesun Paik and Alessio Bax, and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Korea National University of Arts under the tutelage of Minsoo Sohn. Currently, she is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Boston University with Professor Pavel Nersessian.

With a deep passion for teaching, Min has experience working with both young and adult students, and strives to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment for all her students. Her teaching philosophy is grounded in building strong foundational skills in piano playing while cultivating each student’s unique musical expression.

In addition to her work as a pianist and teacher, Min is also an avid collaborator and has performed with other musicians and artists at prestigious venues. She is committed to exploring new and creative ways of sharing her love for music with audiences around the world.
