Violin / Viola

Devon Gardner is a classically trained violin player who specializes in bluegrass fiddling. With 12 years of playing experience, he is an avid member of the local bluegrass community and often hosts jams at local Boston venues. Some of his inspirations and influences are Stuart Duncan, Jeremy Kittel, and Brittany Haas.

Devon has taught students of all ages with over 5 years of experience. He creates custom lesson plans for each student according to their interests and abilities. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics of playing the violin or you are a seasoned classical player looking to learn different styles, Devon would love to work with you and share the techniques he has learned over the years.

Devon’s band Pretty Saro plays festivals such as Podunk, Freshgrass, Greyfox, and Joe Val. The band has recently released their full length album and tour up and down the East Coast.
