Originally from Missouri, Kaitlin Crull is a Boston-based cellist. With specialties in contemporary, improvised, and experimental music, Kaitlin is a co-founder of a collective of like-minded musicians from the Boston-area who aim to collaborate with local composers of all levels to create repertoire for unique ensemble instrumentations. Outside of the classical world, Kaitlin is the cellist for the Boston-based progressive folk band, Noble Dust, and has collaborated with artists such as Ezra Furman, Emily Roberts, and Bruno C. Faria. As an international performer, Kaitlin has performed with the Missouri State Chamber Orchestra in Qingdao (China); has performed in Vienna (Austria); and studied in St. Petersburg (Russia). Kaitlin holds a BA from Missouri State University and an MM from the Longy School of Music of Bard College. Their cello teachers include Michael A. Murray, Terry King, Josef Luitz, and Natalia Zelikova.
