Nicoleta Savvidou is a classically trained pianist born and raised in Paphos, Cyprus. She is currently pursuing her M.M. in Piano Performance at Longy School of Music of Bard College, studying with Donald Berman, under the Christopher Horner Endowed Scholarship. She received her B.M. in Piano Performance major and Creative Entrepreneurship minor from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where she studied with Max Levinson. Nicoleta has been in Boston for the last six years, where she had the opportunity to expand her musical horizons and points of view through various collaborations with amazing artists around the world.

Nicoleta continues to strengthen and enrich her artistic voice and technique through piano seminars, workshops, and pedagogy classes. Her teaching style aims to help students develop their technique, sharpen their musicianship and expand their artistic curiosity. Nicoleta has taught students of all ages in both the United States and Europe. She sets high, but realistic, expectations for student learning and achievement, while providing her students with the tools they need to succeed. In addition to her classical teaching background, Nicoleta is currently taking classes with Peter Cassino to further expand her jazz skillset. Her teaching experience introduced her to stellar artists including Alan Menken, William C. Banfield, Melissa Errico, and Ted Sperling. She hopes her efforts continue to inspire her students to bring out their unique artistic signature.

Nicoleta’s biggest passion is to spread the power of music all over the world, inspiring young generations to utilize this art form to grow artistically, professionally and individually. She believes that music is the most influential tool to cultivate change and build a better world!
