I have been teaching privately for over 10 years, and have worked with students of all ages and experience. Above all, studying music should be fun, and my teaching style reflects that. I like to work with each student on their personal goals while maintaining a positive, encouraging atmosphere. My curriculum includes theory and fundamentals in addition to performance for a more well-rounded approach.

“I served as Brooks’s supervisor when he taught Non-Major violinists at Boston University while working on his doctorate. He was truly committed to the progress of every student and all his students loved working with him. If you’re considering taking lessons I definitely recommend Brooks!” – Daniel D.
