In May 2013, he graduated from the Longy School of Music of Bard College in Cambridge, MA with a Master’s Degree in Cello Performance under the guidance of Terry King.
A firm believer in music as an agent of change in any community, David has been involved repeatedly as a volunteer and paid faculty member in several different El Sistema inspired programs in the Boston area including El Sistema Somerville, YOFES, Revolution of Hope, and the Josiah Quincy Orchestra Program.
He has been part of diverse ensembles in the Boston area like Subito Ensemble, Shin Sekai Cover Project, New England Repertory Orchestra and Unitas Ensemble and currently serves as the director and conductor for the Strings Program at the 9th Grade Academy at Lawrence High School in Lawrence MA.
David enjoys helping a wide range of cello students. He is thrilled to see his students find success, be it an adult hobbyist, a young child just starting out, or an aspiring talent applying to music schools.
